Dr. Woo graduated from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. After receiving his MD degree; he obtained his Internal Medicine residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School where he was nominated by his peers to serve as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. He was then appointed as Assistant Professor of Medicine and started the academic hospitalist program at Norfolk General Hospital.

After the academic hospitalist program became a success, Dr. Woo pursued further subspecialty training in the field of Allergy and Immunology. He became a fellow in training at Louisiana State University under the mentorship of Dr. Sami Bahna, an internationally recognized figure in food allergy and past president of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Upon completion of his fellowship training, Dr. Woo worked as an Allergist in Allergy & Asthma Care Centers in Northern Virginia. There, he played an integral role in developing their state-of-the-art immunotherapy program.

Dr Woo is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He also holds a Diploma in Clinical Dermatology with Distinction award from Queen Mary University of London. He maintains an active academic participation in the field of Allergy and Immunology via lectures, public talks and published  papers in internationally renowned medical journals.

Currently Dr. Woo is based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia where he hopes to bring the best possible care in Allergy and Immunology to his patients. He is a member of the Harley Street Group and sees both pediatric and adult patients with allergic diseases.
